Quit That Job That You Hate So Much

Hold on Cowboy, Don’t Quit Your Job Yet

Hit the Reset Button on Life

Hit the Reset Button on Life

Don’t go telling anybody that I said to quit your job.  At least not until you’ve read this post and laid the foundation for the income producing career that you’ve always wanted.

The workforce is seemingly on a 9 to 5 schedule, Monday through Friday.  Resounding voices sing jubilantly on Friday, but come Sunday afternoon, the doom of returning to work comes into play.

Of course we all enjoy time off and some complain about Monday coming even though they like their jobs.  But what about people that work at jobs for employers that they absolutely abhor?  What about those people?  These are the ones that detest the very idea of going to a job that they absolutely hate.  But what keeps them there?  That’s the real question (beside the obvious steady paycheck).

For those of you whose skin feels like it’s crawling every time you think of your job or workplace, why are you still there?  Are you making tracks or laying the foundation towards your dream job, career or business for which will allow you to joyfully do what you love and get paid for it too?  I know you hear people telling you “you only have 15 more years before you can retire” and in your head you’re thinking “and that’s supposed to make me feel better?”  If any thing, your stomach sinks at the very thought of you getting up five days a week, year after year for the next 15 years to go to a place you wish didn’t exist.

If this sounds like you I ask you again, why are you still there?  You don’t have to be you know.  The only thing you really need to get out of that awful place is determination.  Are you up for it or is mediocrity your desired level of achievement.   Correction, if you hate your job that much, you have not even risen to the level of mediocrity.

Dig down deep and quit suppressing whatever passion you’ve convinced yourself was silly in the first place. Once you’ve dug it out, hit the reset button on your life start working towards getting up out of there.  Don’t let fear keep you stuck i a job that you hate.

Rise up and take note:  You can change the course of your life with a single thought put into action.
