I Believe In You

So What If I Don’t Know You?

I Believe in You

I Believe in You

I know that I don’t know you, but I still believe in you.  I believe in people.  Where is this coming from you might ask?  I believe that it stems from a time when I did not believe in myself.  As gutsy as I appeared to be on the surface, I was as fearful as a child on the inside.  However, I did not let that stop me from pursuing all of the things that I thought I wanted to do.  I believe in you because I used to feel that you or anybody else, possessed qualities that I lacked.  These very same qualities, were the qualities that I thought were necessary to advance to the next level in my life.

I believe in you because I felt that my personality was a deal breaker for success. Whereas your personality draws people near, mine was (and in some cases still does) one in which people do not gravitate too.  I believe in you because at one point I felt my introversion was a liability rather than the asset that it is and always has been.  I believe in you because even if you’re like me, you can and will excel because you possess qualities that others lack and you make up for your shortcomings in other ways that matter.

Do You Believe in You?

I know you don’t know me and could care less whether I believe in your or not.  To some degree you are right.  However, here is where the fine line exist:  my belief in you can only propel you if you have the same belief in yourself.

I believe in you because whereas I pride myself in being able to clearly convey a message, yet as a person, I remain a mystery to most that I come in contact with.  I have to ask myself how could that be, particularly since I write a blog that basically lays my life out on the line.  I believe in you because I am no longer afraid to be vulnerable. I accept my life’s bruises that have made me who I am:  A woman that has overcome obstacle upon obstacle and still more to conquer and I believe you can too.

Finally, I believe in you because you may be me in a different body.  I believe in you because now I believe in me.

And one thing is for sure:  I am so glad that “Every day presents another opportunity to hit the reset button on my life.”  For if it were not for that and the grace of God, I don’t know where I’d be.
