Activist T. Marie King

Yes T. Marie King is a Community Activist

On Sunday, March 13, 2016, Renew Refresh Reset Your Life TV interviewed T. Marie King.  One of the reasons that I wanted to interview Marie is because of her obvious commitment to support causes that promote the community.  Watch the replay by clicking on the video and you’ll hear Marie talk about her passions which include but are not limited to:

  1. educating the community about issues that affect us on a broad scale and
  2. supporting youth programs that allow them to realize their full potential.

She also talks about issues such as the church’s role in the community and much more.

One of the things that Marie didn’t do was consider herself to be an activist.  I told her that I followed her closely and based on what I’ve seen, I consider her to be a community activist which is the primary reason I had her on the broadcast.  Renew Refresh Reset Your Life TV  is all about spotlighting people who have hit the reset button on their lives and/or the lives of others.  If activism doesn’t fit that bill, I don’t know what does.

Marie said people often refer to her as a community activist, at the time of the broadcast, she had not claimed that role.  Well I’m proud to say that during the broadcast, I had Marie commit to posting the following on her social media pages immediately after the broadcast:

“My name is T. Marie King and I am a Community Activist.”

Much to my delight, Marie complied and now she actually considers herself to be a community activist. YES! I am also proud to say the Renew Refresh Reset Your Life and the cheerleading squad of  Sondra Yvonne Hill-Ward and Janet Mclilly-Tatum played a significant role in that declaration.

Hats off to Community Activist T. Marie King.
